The hotel has a fantastic location within walking distance to the Shwedagon Paya and Bogyoke Aung San Market, which is a huge plus. However, I found the rooms to be less than satisfactory—quite dirty and not very secure. Although the service was friendly and helpful, especially from Mr. Khin, the overall value felt a bit off considering the quality of the accommodations.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were quite disappointing; they felt poky and unclean, and the bathroom conditions were hardly acceptable for even a budget hotel. The view was limited to just the top of the Shwedagon's steeple, and the constant noise from the loud air conditioning unit didn’t help.
Service
8.0
The service, particularly from Mr. Khin, was exceptional. He went out of his way to help us with our itinerary and even lent me his mobile phone without expecting anything in return. However, the overall service felt undermined by the general state of the hotel.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel is one of its best features, as it's centrally positioned, making it easy to walk to the Shwedagon Paya and local markets. It's on a street that wasn’t too busy, although you could still hear the occasional taxi honking.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience left much to be desired. Breakfast was disappointing, with options like cold fried and scrambled eggs, and a limited selection overall. Definitely not what I hoped for.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities seemed to be outdated and in need of improvements, which diminished the overall experience.

The hotel has a great location, being just a short walk from the Shwedagon pagoda and a bustling market. The staff was friendly and helpful, particularly Mr. Khin, who assisted us with our itinerary. However, the rooms felt quite dated and could really use some renovation. While the dining options were adequate, they seemed repetitive and lacked variety, which was a bit disappointing.

The location was fantastic, just a 20-minute walk to the Shwedagon pagoda and close to great shopping at Scott Market. The street was relatively quiet, which was nice.
Dining

Facilities

The hotel had basic facilities, but nothing stood out as particularly excellent. Everything was functional.

The hotel has a lot to offer with its spacious and clean rooms, though I did notice a slightly mouldy smell, which was a downside. The staff were truly friendly and helpful, making my stay more pleasant. The location was decent, being a short walk from some good spots, but being in a quieter area at night was a bit inconvenient. Dining was quite disappointing as the breakfast options were limited and not very appealing, so that’s something to consider. Overall, it's a good value for what you pay, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, being within walking distance to both the Shwedagon Paya and the Bogyoke Aung San Market. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my stay more enjoyable. However, the rooms were in dire need of refurbishment and cleanliness. The dining options were limited and didn't meet my expectations, especially for breakfast.

Rooms

The rooms really need a good refurbishing; they felt pokey, dirty, and the bathroom barely met standards for even a 1-star hotel. There was also a large damp patch on the carpet, which was quite off-putting.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic—very close to the Shwe Dagon Pagoda and a delicious Shan noodle spot, which I loved. However, the room I stayed in had an old-fashioned vibe and the air conditioning was quite loud, making it difficult to sleep. The service felt a bit lacking and the dining was disappointing. Overall, it’s a decent option if the location is a priority for you, but the comfort and dining could use improvement.
